The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.
As a General Service Associate, you will perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties which may include moving or rearranging furniture, disinfecting patient rooms, replacing supplies, vacuuming, washing, or waxing floors; emptying trash, disposing of biomedical wastes and other duties as assigned.
One year of experience in housekeeping or institutional cleaning,preferred.
Working knowledge of floor finishing, i.e. buffing & waxing.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Ability to problem solve.
Team player.
Respond quickly to customer requests and complaints.
High School Diploma or GED
