The part-time Business Manager works with our outsourced accountants and management team and handles all bookkeeping matters of the agency, coordinating purchasing, vendor relationships, and processes related to human resources and benefits administration.
A flexible schedule and some remote workdays are possible to total about 26 hours/week.
The primary responsibilities include:
A/P, A/R, payroll, and other bookkeeping functions Bi-monthly cash analysis and supporting reports Coordinate ordering of office and program supplies Oversee vendor contracts and renewals Orient new staff and prepare and maintain personnel files Work with other departments to manage rent receivables and payables, donor transactions, etc.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma Bookkeeping experience Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar software Ability to work with a broad range of people in a professional and positive manner Preferred:
Experience working for a non-profit in a bookkeeping capacity Self-motivated, organized, detail and deadline-oriented with strong interpersonal skills who is proficient in MS Office Highly organized with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks Ability to work independently, accept responsibility and follow through on project assignments This position is part-time and is exempt from the provisions of wage/hour laws and reports to the President & CEO.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
